Classroom Posters, Anchor Charts, and Wall Decor

July 26, 2023
by Eric Sanford

I thought what better way to kick off a blog and resources page than offering some FREE designs.  What teacher doesn't like free stuff?

There are tons of options out there for math, reading/language arts, science, and social studies. What we don't see so much are wall designs, anchor charts, or class posters for fine arts teachers. I think I've noticed more for Elementary teachers, but let's face it - those teachers are crafty, resourceful, and amazing to behold when you see their treasure trove of decorations.  For Middle School and High School?  Not so much.  I think I've seen the same two instrument posters with the families of instruments pictured since I was in school in the 1980s. Even our high school band room had them.  Was it a joke? Was it for continuity?  Who knows? Was it the only option?

I'm not one for explanations and "blog spots". I always smash the "go directly to recipe" button when I see it at the top of the webpage, and I am eternally grateful for it.

Without further ado, please enjoy the files below.  Each file indicates the original print size, but you should be able to load it as the same or smaller to get a quality print.  You can attempt to go larger, but it may be blurry.

I used a print service like Office Depot. Yeah, it costs money, but at least you get to see the proof before and say yes or no (unlike some of those other places that send you blurry images and still charged $20 per poster).

Speaking of tips, if you are so inclined to be generous, please click the "Buy me a coffee" button below. I know it's an extra step, but $5 actually goes a long way to keep this site running.

Enjoy!

Eric
